from me to you
Hey there!
Welcome to the tiny place in cyberspace of a girl who blogs her blues away. And well, maybe out of boredom as well.
How on earth you found your way here may be intentional or completely random, but you're welcome to look around either way.

Wallflower (wall·flow·er)
Definition
- One who does not participate in the activity at a social event because of shyness or unpopularity.
- A lady at a ball, who, either from choice, or because not asked to dance, remains a spectator.
As the term suggests, I shy away from a lot of things, parties and balls/dances being top 1 and top 2 respectively.
I'm a small girl you won't probably notice in a crowd. On top of that, I'm a natural klutz, the holder of a seemingly record-breaking list of misplaced items, an amateur anything, and an over-thinker who oftentimes lets her head rule her heart.
I'm still normal okay, don't get me wrong. haha... I'm a kid at heart who is easily pleased with simple things. One who carries a pinch of optimism, a tinkling of charm, and loads of laughs. I'm still trying to find my place in this vast expanse, but I'm having tons of fun along the way.
I'll find that light someday, I'm sure! But for now, I'll slow things down a bit and enjoy the ride.
My life's not the most spectacular thing that you'll come across, but it's worth a look :)

Heya! It's back to school for me today. Surprisingly, I was looking forward to this day before I went to bed last night. I had a really good feel about today, and I was right - everything went well today. Yeah I was a bit late today because David got a flat tire, but still, I was feeling really enthusiastic throughout the whole day. For the past 3 terms, I've never felt this relaxed. It's partly because I've decided to pursue Psychology alone (and dropping Business Management), but that's hardly it. My day really was a good one.
My first class was ELECLIT (literature elective). The section I took said "Rowling" in it, so I immediately took that section. I thought it was an ordinary class discussing J.K. Rowling's works and maybe the controversies. I never imagined it would be a real-life Harry Potter class. By real life, I mean that our professor (she told us to call her that, just like in Harry Potter) actually applied Harry Potter in her curriculum. First, she passed along papers which had a few questions on them like which of the 7 books we have read, who is our favorite character, what house we would like to be sorted in, etc. When we were done, she told us that she would sort us into houses (10 per house) according to what houses we want and what she thinks we deserve, like the sorting hat. Of course, each house has a prefect, and we'll have one for each house in class too! We'll also have a head boy and head girl, cool right? :D Then we'll also have the O.W.L.s, which refer to our midterms. There's also the house points. We'll also have an end of term feast, and that's what everyone seemed to be really excited about. There's a catch to all this fun though - we have to read all 7 books AND watch all the movies that have been made so far. Thank goodness I just have book 6 and 7 left to read. I know I'll like this class a lot, and professor Anne Sangil too!
Then there's GREATWK. I went to Waldo Perfecto with Vyn. We stayed in the classroom for quite a while until we read what was posted on the door: GREATWK please procceed to Waldo Perfecto. We walked as fast as we could! haha... Ayan tuloy, we don't read kasi. Jek, Camille, Justin, and Cher were late too. They arrived minutes after Vyn and I got there. It slipped my mind that they were my classmates in that subject. I was so glad that I'd finally see some familiar faces in class (unlike last term). There will be three professors who'll be teaching three totally different books. Our section's first will be El Filibusterismo under Sir Malabed.
Last class for the day was MARKET2 with Sir Liongson (again). Familiar faces again! I saw Stan from MANPERS, Deb and Kerwin from MARKET1, and Paolo from KASPIL2. I was looking for CO too, but I didn't find him. I found out that his class under Sir Liongson was MARKSAM, the MARKET2 of Marketing majors. Sayang. I'm gonna be selling stuff this term too! I'm really looking forward to that.
Oh yeah, I was supposed to have MANTOOL after this class, but I decided to drop it because I'm shifting to Psychology. Long story.
Anway, that sums up my day. I only have one class tomorrow - TREDTRI. I've loathed all my TRED classes because they're so long, boring, and a huge hassle because of all the community service projects. And I'll see my teammates again whom I've missed so much over the short vacation.

Okay, so I found out that classes for next term starts this Wednesday already. I thought I had at least another week week! I'll be out the whole day on Monday (for my driver's license), which leaves just Tuesday to hang-out with Alliv and Arik. Will we be able to hang-out at all kaya? I hope so... Oh and I've started reading Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. I haven't finished the book yet, but I can tell this is one book I'll be hooked on. I love what I've read so far, and I think I'm falling for Edward Cullen as well. Haha... My gosh, he's ridiculously perfect. I can't wait to see what happens in the end! And I'm really, really looking forward to the release of the movie on November 21. Let's see if the movie meets the standards of our imaginations. But nonetheless, I think I'll enjoy the movie because it stars Robert Pattinson who I've adored since he played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter. haha... Well anyway... In other news, DLSU lost to ADMU in their game today. It's okay Archers, you did your best. Geez I'm so bored. I don't even know what to write. I just want to type something. Not that I haven't done anything this week, believe me, my feet are overused. I've done a lot of walking this week, especially in divisoria and Megamall. haha... Oh yeah! Twilight is partly the reason why I've been doing a lot of walking. The book was so freakin' hard to find! I guess everyone else is as intrigued about the book as I am. I finally found a copy of the book in National Book Store in Taft. It was the only one left, so grabbed it as soon as I saw it. Thank goodness it was available there! This entry seems senseless. haha... I'm sorry :)) I'll (hopefully) type something better next time. Labels: boredom, star struck

Completely random. I want to blog even if I have nothing of much significance to say. haha...
So anyway! It's course card distribution today, and like I've done since second year, I didn't go again. haha... My grades will be posed in My.LaSalle anyway. But still, I wanted to get my course cards for my majors subjects in Business Management. I'm shifting to Psychology next term (err long story, long and dramatic :/), and I thought it would be nice to have the course cards of the only two professors I took my majors under. I'll especially miss Sir Paderna. He's like Sir Oyong, my Biology professor, who's super nice, gives really high grades, and is really funny.
This past term is one I won't forget - for both good and bad reasons. I haven't really given much thought on what I've achieved or lost this term, so I'll do it here.
On the up side...
- I started going to QCPIR regularly! That is a really big achievement for me because I was supposed to be going since I entered college. But because time wouldn't permit, I missed two years of Institute.
- I'm getting better in fencing. Coach Ramil has been teaching me a lot and I'm really, really relieved that I see improvement in my form and bladeworks little by little. Sure, there are those off days, but I get by somehow. haha...
- I've been much closer with the people I hold dear, especially my family. Enough said :)
- I'm closer to my dormmates. I've always felt a wall between them and me because I thought I wouldn't fit-in with them, but I demolished that wall this term. During finals week pa, of all the days! haha...
- I was introduced to The Sandwhich Guy. It's a small shack in Taft that sells really good, super stuffed sandwhiches at affordable costs. They sell pasta and baked potatoes too. It's really worth a try!
On the whatever side... - I've been so out of touch with my best friend. I just miss being able to see her everyday and telling her everything. There have been so many things that happened last term that I've wanted to tell her, but I don't think I'll remember everything I want to tell her when we meet again :(
- I'm 100% sure I'll fail Accounting and Algebra. Pfft.
- I got sick a lot this term. Three times, as in with the fever and all.
- I realized that I have no future whatsoever that involved public speaking. haha... Thank you SPEECOM.
- Got really fed up with a certain someone. As in REALLY fed up.
And the neutral/unclassified...
- I'm moving out of the dorm.
- Missing the chance to be in the yearbook with my batch mates.
- Realized that I've been in like with W for a almost a year now, 353 days to be exact (yes, I counted). Ohmygosh.
So basically that sums up my term. My plans for this break? - Go out with Alliv and Arik. I miss hanging out with them! I'm always with Arik, but it's different when the three of us are together.
- Meet up with Aya, my high school kabarkada. It would be nice if the others would be there too.
- Watch a UAAP game. Or I could extend this goal to next term.
- Finish making a necklace out of paper beads. I learned to do this at church. The beads don't even look recycled when they're done! It's fun to do, but hurts your fingers a lot. haha... I'll post a picture of the beads when I finish the necklace.
- Start reading Twilight! I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't read it and the only one not yet in love with Edward Cullen. haha...
Yun na lang muna, I don't want to stress myself. haha... Oh yeah, I want to share with you a picture I found in photobucket: I think it's adorable. hahahahaha :)) And I finally changed my layout already. Still pretty much on the simple side. I tried using the upgraded template. It's so much easier to use! But I have to put a lot more stuff from my old layout to this one. Bye! Labels: school
