from me to you
Hey there!
Welcome to the tiny place in cyberspace of a girl who blogs her blues away. And well, maybe out of boredom as well.
How on earth you found your way here may be intentional or completely random, but you're welcome to look around either way.

Wallflower (wall·flow·er)
Definition
- One who does not participate in the activity at a social event because of shyness or unpopularity.
- A lady at a ball, who, either from choice, or because not asked to dance, remains a spectator.
As the term suggests, I shy away from a lot of things, parties and balls/dances being top 1 and top 2 respectively.
I'm a small girl you won't probably notice in a crowd. On top of that, I'm a natural klutz, the holder of a seemingly record-breaking list of misplaced items, an amateur anything, and an over-thinker who oftentimes lets her head rule her heart.
I'm still normal okay, don't get me wrong. haha... I'm a kid at heart who is easily pleased with simple things. One who carries a pinch of optimism, a tinkling of charm, and loads of laughs. I'm still trying to find my place in this vast expanse, but I'm having tons of fun along the way.
I'll find that light someday, I'm sure! But for now, I'll slow things down a bit and enjoy the ride.
My life's not the most spectacular thing that you'll come across, but it's worth a look :)

Since it's just a a few more weeks until Christmas, here's my Christmas list!
I've been good this year (I think), so I guess I deserve some of the stuff on my list, don't you think? haha... I need a miracle to get most of them though.
EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro click HERE for sample photos
I’ve always been fascinated with the macro feature, so I asked around for a good lens. I saw photos taken using this lens in a website and I was amazed! The lenses have now are the kit lens and a telephoto lens, let’s throw in the macro lens na rin. haha…
Allstar Electric Sabre
I was supposed to have one this month already, but looks like I’ll have to wait again – long story.
8GB iPod Nano
I already have a 30GB iPod video, but I want a nano because it’s small (like me -_-“) and handier. I’ve had my iPod for 2 years, and I haven’t gone up to 1/4 th of it! I think my brother wants my iPod too, so if I get a new one, we’ll both be content. Weird ko, sorry. haha...
Hannah Montana DVD
As kiddy as it sounds, I enjoy watching Disney Channel shows, especially Hannah Montana. I already have soundtracks to both the first and second seasons, DVD na lang kulang.
gmask for my laptop
I’ve wanted to have this done for my laptop for a looong time, but I keep spending the money I save up on clothes. haha…
more Nancy Drew books
Any one of them would do. I only have a few of them – Old Clock, Hollow Oak, Leaning Chimney, Fire Dragon. I don’t read the books much because I’m hooked on playing the games (I’m solving Message in a Haunted Mansion at the moment)! haha… I kinda miss reading. I’d super love you if you gave me another book to read.
blue-spotted leopard stuffed toy(s)
I saw these in Humor post. I didn’t have the money to buy them, so I left them sitting on the display window. *sobs* They come in different sizes and positions. I already have the keychain version, but it got destroyed. whaaah... I want to collect them all! Take note: the leopard with the blue spots.
a huge pack of Sour Skittles
I’ve loved Skittles since I was a kid. It’s even better now because they come in sour flavors. I love sour food. Kamias nga pinapapak ko eh.
Violet Crumble OR Malteasers
I love these chocolates! Violet Crumble isn’t available here. The last one I had was in the States 2 years ago – I miss it! Malties because… Uhh… They’re good! I love them both next to See’s Rum Nougat. Kulang ng isa… Uhmm… I know! YOUR car without you in it! hahahahaha! No image, patay ako kung ilalagay ko yung pic dito.In the spirit of giving, IPON NA! haha! BUT... On top of all of these wishes, I wish that I'd be able to make someone's Christmas as happy as those I've had for the past 17 years. Let me, for once, be the one to see the bright smile on another's face. Super advanced Merry Christmas everyone! Labels: occasions

I watched Ate Kat perform in Pasi catchan last night. She looked so pretty plus had a sweet voice to boot! She sang "Time after Time" and was backed-up by her group. Their clothes and choice of songs and were nice too. Hair and make-up of Ate Kat care of Ate Yars (with special participation of Tin). Their batch, CATCH 2T8, was the overall champ. Congrats guys!

When we got back to the dorm, it was photo-op time with our star! Ate Kat looked so happy, abot langit ang ngiti! She didn't even want to remove her make-up yet, and couldn't let down her hair - naligo kasi siya ng hair spray, it was stuck like that! haha! T'was fun hearing her stories and taking shots of our kulitan moments.

Look what else I've been busy with - photoshopping make-up! Don't mind my face (I look like a doofus in this photo), just look at the make-up. I did the eye shadow, eye liner, and lipstick, while Ate Yarra did the eyebrows and blush-on. Amazing! I look so different:

Wat'cha think?
Anyway.
I was with Arski, Camille and Jek a while ago. We were kinda really bored during our break, so we decided to play a little game. The first one who passes by with the following conditions were the guys who were meant for us:
Arski: striped shirt, khaki shorts, slippers Camille: yellow shirt, military pants/shorts (fatigue or camouflage), slippers Jek: blue shirt, shorts, red shoes (kahit may halo basta dominant yung red) Jenn: black shirt, jeans, white shoes (originally black)
After a few minutes of waiting, someone of my conditions popped out! Guess who - Simon Atkins. haha! Not my type though. After a few more minutes, sexy love (a guy from LSDC) passed by wearing a black shirt, jeans, and black shoes. Grr... I should have gone with the black shoes! haha! We looked silly looking at every guy who passes by that may fit our conditions. Arski, Camille, and Jek didn't find their guys though. Maybe next time.
Oh and I didn't train today 'coz of the loads of stuff I have to do for school. Boo! Thank goodness this will all be over on December 7!
In other news, I finally got to talk to crushie (the HUMAART guy) last Monday! I (think) we're officially friends because we introduced ourselves to each other already. He's from CBE and an Advertising major. I get to say hi to him too without the fear of him not recognizing me from class. haha! I like him talaga. Kinda makes me sad that there are just a couple of meetings left until our Christmas break though. I'm enjoying HUMAART (I dunno why others think it's boring) plus I get to see crushie. Oh and if anyone's taking HUMAART soon, enroll in Ms. Cris Barbra Pe's class, you won't regret it.
Well, gotta get back to work. Bye!

I'm the type of person who wouldn't care less if I had such a burden on my shoulder, I'd blow the worries away with a smile. I fail a test, smile - I'll do better next time. My brothers and I fight, smile - we'll patch things up sooner or later. Tons of schoolwork pile up, smile - whining wouldn't get me anywhere. I honestly thought I had an immunity to tears already.
Yesterday, however, was very different. I was drowning in a pool of hatred and frustration yesterday. There were many little things I thought I had gotten over running through my mind, that I couldn't help the tears from falling.
"I'm not getting any better." I know for one that I need loads more practice to get the hang of fencing, but I just get pissed the airhead who (indirectly) keeps rubbing it in. I've gotten over what he said about my getting an allstar already and even resorted to just piss him of more by flaunting my new sabre when I get it. But since the anger was bubbling up, the blade thing together with so many other fouls just aggrevated my hatred (take note, hatred) towards him. He's the reason why I feel like a loser in fencing. Kung hindi ko lang siya kaibigan, matagal ko na siyang kinarate at tinaekwondo. Ano bang ginawa ko sa 'yo at ginaganito mo ako?! I so freakin' hate him.
"Taekwondo is my first love." Of all the sports I've tried (trust me, they're more than you can count on both hands), I've never had one that actually clicked with me and my energy until I started taekwondo-karate. I've been training for four years, and when it was finally time to get my black belt, I got too lazy to train during the last week of my 6-month wait, and *poof*, no black belt. I never went back to training since. I left the sport with a brown belt in one hand and a wet handkerchief in the other. My best friend had connections to get me in the taekwondo varsity of DLSU through Vlady, but since I've already started fencing, I said no. Vlady even introduced me to the coach already, and I still said no. I let two (technically 3) chances pass by for me to finally get my black belt. Now, I see froshies taking taekwondo for PE and I get frustrated. Did I really make the right choice? Was fencing really worth it (refer to first dilemma)? I made a choice, panindigan ko.
"Maybe some people are my friends only because of my camera." I won't point fingers, but this is what I've been feeling towards some people. Itapon ko kaya DSLR ko, friends pa ba tayo?
"You're all leaving me." Madrama as it sounds, it's true - the friends I hold dear are leaving me one by one. Alliv's migrating, David's graduating soon (it's like bidding farewell to a brother), Gazel's graduating soon as well, and I'll never see Apol again after he graduates. I know, as if naman hindi ako gagraduate. It just won't be the same without them. *tear*
I cried a lot because of all of these to my sabre bro, David. He helped a lot and assured me my problems were crap. haha... He said a lot of things that made me feel better, even I started thinking that I was crying over nothing. I don't think I'll be crying over these things any time soon. Thank you so much David! *hugsss*
We went to watch Shio's LSAL after drama mode. Congrats to them, they won! We had dinner in Rap after.

It was also my roommate, Trish, and Ria's birthday yesterday. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! Too bad Trish wasn't here to celebrate with us. I met new dormmates too - Ate Doreen, Camae, Faye, Kiel, and RJ.
SEEING DOUBLE? click HERE for more photos
I watched a friend bag victory, had a great dinner, gained new friends, and most importantly, I started smiling again. This day, however bad it seemed, made way for better things to come - a better understanding, more smiles, and the chance to move on and start over.

Due to popular demand, I'll update. haha...
Honestly, the reason I haven't been updating isn't because I've been too busy with my acads or too preoccupied making a new layout. So much has been going on that I don't know where to start. What's more is that it's all happening so fast - sometimes even too fast for me to stop and smell that flowers. Haaay. Iba na talaga ang tumatanda. *scratches head*
Anyway. I don't really know what to blog about right now. To think I'm usually someone who can go on and on about the most senseless things. Well actually, I do have a few things say to some people:
TO THE AIRHEAD: It's one thing to say things to may face, it's another to say things behind my back. Don't tell me that your words of encouragement were merely for show. I don't like that way you've been acting towards our seniors either. I know you're skilled and all, but it's wrong to say (directly or indirectly) or act like you're better than them. You've gone overboard. You aren't "all that". Itatak mo yan sa utak mo. If you think I'm mean, what does that make you? A little humility wouldn't kill you. Please lang, tumigil ka na bago kita ihagis sa kabilang dulo ng mundo.
TO THE FEELER: Nakabawi ka na, di na ako naiinis sa 'yo. Next time though, don't over analyze the way I act towards you. In case you didn't know, I'm very vocal about my feelings. I may say "sobrang namimiss na kita", "sobrang pinasaya mo ako", or "napapaiyak ako", but it doesn't mean anything, not to me at least. I say these to a friend and even to crushes. It's just the way I am. Hindi kita aanhin, wag kang mag-alala. Hindi rin ako malandi - I'm not the type who makes the first move. *batok*
TO THE MIME: There are others who need the guidance you give to one person alone. I think it's about time you attend to them too. I know they'll be better in no time if you do.
TO TENENENENER: Gosh, I don't know what to say. You look better, seriously! haha... Still, even if you looked like a freak show, I think I'd still like you anyway.
TO OME: I missed you a lot, seriously. You don't know how happy I was to see you again. I hope you meant it when you said you missed me too. If your teasing meant that you were happy to see me, well, I'd tease you double that. There's something about you that changed too. And maybe, just maybe... Oh nevermind. I just missed you a lot.
TO THE STALKED: I don't know what's bothering you, and it really makes me feel bad that I can't do anything to cheer you up. I hate seeing you like that. If there's anything I can do to lighten your mood, just tell me, okay? Wag lang sana palibre kasi wala na akong pera. haha...
TO THE STALKER: 18 na siya okey?! At mataba ka na daw talaga! haha!
TO SELF: Matulog ka na, 8:00 pa pasok mo bukas.
haha...
Good night guys!
