from me to you
Hey there!
Welcome to the tiny place in cyberspace of a girl who blogs her blues away. And well, maybe out of boredom as well.
How on earth you found your way here may be intentional or completely random, but you're welcome to look around either way.

Wallflower (wall·flow·er)
Definition
- One who does not participate in the activity at a social event because of shyness or unpopularity.
- A lady at a ball, who, either from choice, or because not asked to dance, remains a spectator.
As the term suggests, I shy away from a lot of things, parties and balls/dances being top 1 and top 2 respectively.
I'm a small girl you won't probably notice in a crowd. On top of that, I'm a natural klutz, the holder of a seemingly record-breaking list of misplaced items, an amateur anything, and an over-thinker who oftentimes lets her head rule her heart.
I'm still normal okay, don't get me wrong. haha... I'm a kid at heart who is easily pleased with simple things. One who carries a pinch of optimism, a tinkling of charm, and loads of laughs. I'm still trying to find my place in this vast expanse, but I'm having tons of fun along the way.
I'll find that light someday, I'm sure! But for now, I'll slow things down a bit and enjoy the ride.
My life's not the most spectacular thing that you'll come across, but it's worth a look :)

CONGRATULATIONS ARCHERS! Season 70 Basketball Champions
Once again, you have brought pride into the whole Lasallian community! 'Til next season! ANIMO LA SALLE!
(I still heart Maierhofer.) courtesy of greenarcher.netOkay, here's my real entry. 1. My Dad
I know I've ranted over and over how much my dad was unreasonable, but yesterday and today changed the way I thought about him.
I told him about the cookies the fencing team was selling, and I jokingly said that I should have taken up Advertising Management because of the pictures I took of the cookies (there were a lot who liked the photos). I was surprised when he didn't give me his usual "ay nako make up your mind":
"Daddy inegosyo natin cookies at brownies ni Mommy." "Oo, maraming bibili nun lalo na sa Christmas." "Marami din akong kilala sa La Salle!" "Tapos si Mommy sa Kostka." "Tapos ikaw sa San Miguel. See? Kinalat tayo for a reason! haha..." *silence* "Eh Daddy, natural bolera naman ako eh, wag na lang kaya ako mag BMG?" "Ay hindi, iba pa rin yung may pinag-aralan." "Kaso papasok pa ako sa law school." "Tapusin mo muna yung 5 years mo, then you decide in the end kung itutuloy mo pa talaga yung pagiging abogado." *Jenn looks at dad in shock*
Seriously, I was expecting another sermon. Maybe my dad really is hoping that I'd open up a business someday. I've joked about it loads of times, but after this conversation with my dad, I figured I might have what it takes to become a businesswoman. All this time, I'd fixed my mind to going to law school and becoming the second lawyer in the family (after my grandfather who I never got the chance to meet), but lo and behold, a joke opens my mind to a new perspective. Wow. This is one of those times where I can't say "bahala na kung anong mangyari". I have to decide soon, the clock's ticking.
I gotta thank my Dad for this.
2. My brother - Lester
It was Lester's entrance exam in DLSU today. I went with him for moral support, even if it meant missing Sunday School (oh no). haha... I really do hope he passes. He's been studying so much harder than me (err okay, I didn't study, I just slept) during review school. He even topped the DLSUCET simulation in all of the AHEAD branches. I'll be super glad / proud / excited / jumpy / someonecalmmedown if he does.
Even if he will pass the DLSUCET, I still think you can't take out the Atenean in him. He's been an Atenean all his life - from Grade 1 until his last year in high school. I don't think he'd be willing to leave his Alma Matter just yet. On our way to La Salle, I asked him where he'd study given a choice between Ateneo and La Salle. He answered Ateneo because it's nearer to our house, and he's happy there. I understood him, and I wasn't really surprised with his answer. Iba na kasi kapag may loyalty ka sa isang tao o bagay eh, and in his case, his school.
Les, wherever you decide to study, I'll support yah a hundred percent. Of course I want you to study in La Salle, but I wouldn't blame you for wanting to study in Ateneo. You have my word. Good Luck kapatid!
3. My brother - David
I was chatting with David a few hours ago. Here's how it went:
David Agustin: i got u something for helping me in my account David Agustin: u need it Jenn Agustin: what? David Agustin: trust me David Agustin: check and accept the gift David Agustin: right now David Agustin: :D
I checked it after. I thought it was another one of his jokes, I was speechless when I saw what it was:
Purple Pteri PlushieAng sweet naman! He knew I was collecting plushies and he bid in an auction just to get this. This is offically my new favorite plushie.
Thank you so much David! *hugs*
So there yah have it, my three favorite guys. They'll become four when I meet Rico Maierhofer. haha!

I still have the same ugly feeling I had the other day. I still can't tell what it is, and it still bothers me. How bad is it? I had all the reasons to be perfectly happy yesterday because of certain things that happened, but because of this unknown bother, none of the happy stuff sunk in until before I slept. IT'S THAT BAD. I really wish I'd have even just the slightest idea of why I'm feeling this way. I NEED TO KNOW.
Anyway, the DLSU Green Fencers are selling cookies at 100 pesos per box, 10 cookies. They're really good, trust me! You'll not only be able to help out the fencing team, but also leave your sweet tooth craving for more of the sugary goodness. Leave me a message for orders.

I'm in the blogging mood. I want to make an entry, even if it's complete nonsense. haha...
School? I miss QCPIR. I miss shopping. I miss late-night tambays with my friends (any of them). I don't get to do any of them anymore because of school.
Fencing? I think I'm improving! haha... My lunges are getting better and I just learned how to Flèche, Parry, and Riposte yesterday. I'm still working on them though. I'm getting along well with my teammates too, which gives me more reason to look forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays. I love our team!
The dorm? We have a new guard. That's all. haha... Oh and I'm getting to know more people, including the guys in the 7th floor.
That's about it. haha... Gotta get back to work. Bye!

Weird. I've been really sunny this morning, but I was suddenly overcome by an uneasy feeling. It's as if something bad was going to happen. Weird.
Anyway.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE DE LA SALLE GREEN ARCHERS! Hurray! DLSU's going up against UE in the finals!
I really wanted to watch the game today, but my dad didn't allow me because it's Sunday. Di ko tuloy nakita 'to:
The numbers are the rank of DLSU and ADMU in the top schools in the world. Our school's ranked #392, while ADMU's ranked #484. I don't know why the banner says it's #488. That's the only banner we had against ADMU's banners saying "suspended", "wala", or any other bashing messages. Suspended? It's a thing of the past. It's silly to bring it up again. It's not about the past anymore, it's about what's going on now. Wala? I seriously doubt that. Read the numbers my dearies. Need I say more?
Look, I don't hate all Ateneans, just those who aren't humble enough to admit loss and those who continually provoke a quiet school like ours. Please, it's not getting us anywhere. Tama na.
I missed other things aside from this banner by not going to the game. I missed the chance to be on TV. Sharon Yu, DLSU's court side reporter, is my friend from the The LaSallian. I could have been seen on TV with Alliv, Migs, and Adrian! Sayang! Missing the big win is also a huge loss. Now, I'll be forever wondering what the crowd was like when we won the game. haha... Oh well, there's always next year.
We are going to the finals, but still, I don't think the finals will match up to a good fight between Ateneo and La Salle. Whatever happens in the finals, I'll still support the archers 100%, especially Rico Maierhoffer. haha!
Never shall we fail. ANIMO LA SALLE!
